Home Again
Look into the sun,
And see your soul is dying,
Used to feel the faith,
But now you're tired of trying.
From the light on high,
A chance to change your fate,
Forgiveness falling down,
On those who chose to wait,
Remember the time,
Find yourself home again,
Deep within your life,
Find yourself home again.
Our Deepest Fear
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, but it is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, attractive, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world (or yourself). There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it is in everyone. As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As were are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others"

A Tear From the eye of a
Yin Yang Spirit
On my own, I have studied eastern religions over the years. My quests for freedom from ignorance lead me to do so. I do not profess to be very knowledgeable on the topic. For ease of expression, I simply define Yin Yang as meaning light (enlightenment) and the lack of it. What inspires me to write about it, is my aspiration for strength of spirit and my frustration, from what appears to be a disregard for strength of character reflected worldwide.
I have been thinking very hard about how to get this page started. After re-reading the previous paragraph, I found that the means is right in front of me.
All I need to do is take into account my aspirations and what is keeping me from achieving them and address them here. So please overlook the skills that I lack, and share my endeavors for peace, understanding, health, and well being, in all aspects of our lives.

(Meditating on the Blinding Light of Stupidity)
There is an old expression that I cannot remember how it goes, but it is similar to this: Grant me the strength to resolve the problems that I can and the wisdom to not dwell on those that cannot be resolved. I have a hard time accepting that attitude. I do not think that technology would exist, if everyone succumbed to that perspective.
But in some respects, I do not see much change in civilizations over the centuries. It seems that those in the ruling classes are still feeding off their acquired material and governmental resources without taking the actions necessary to ensure that those resources are not depleted. Over the previous century, the resource acquisition methods and skills have been highly developed. This development encompasses a vast scope of governmental processes to support it. This modern version of capitalism appears to be very heavily governed by the corporate world. I have a hard time accepting that too. I feel it is a shame that the dominant civilizations are based on the consumption of human and material resources to support greed, and vanity, rather than for developing civilization and our freedom.
Since the mid-sixties scientists and others have been predicting the chaos that we are dealing with today and imminent in the future. When I look at the events taking place in my personal life and the world around me, it nearly overwhelms me. It is becoming quite obvious that the rate of changes worldwide is making it harder to develop and maintain economic, personal, and spiritual stability in our lives. For me, what has been the biggest test under these influences, is maintaining my own strength of spirit. Which reminds me of an expression that came to mind a few years back.
I live by the grace of God, but God is a klutz.
